Overview

Eagle International is making its first flight to the Mile High City!  Please join us as we land in Denver on October 11, 2022 to present:  Gaining New Perspectives from a Mile High View.  What are these new perspectives from such a spectacular view you ask?  With all the recent changes and demands on the trucking industry, accidents have become more prevalent.  We will take a deep dive into effective investigations and reconstruction analysis and hear from industry leaders on the topic on how to successfully defend those claims.  The industry has also seen an increase in civil claims when someone–or something–becomes the victim of a criminal act.  Our second panel will discuss the issues and strategies for defending those liability cases that arise out of the criminal acts of another.  We all bring our histories and experiences to work every day.  The recent social movements have allowed us to look internally at our own thought processes, both personally and professionally.  Our third panel will touch on potential bias and ethical issues in our thinking when evaluating and trying cases.   Finally, we will turn to the issue of bad faith and look at how to avoid those claims with proper file handling; and how to defend those cases if something goes wrong.
